Text in Definition
This blog has been built for an art project I am doing. I am looking at how we define ourselves in a literal sense ie if your name was in the dictionary what would be next to it?
I would like as many people as possible to type an entry here giving their dicitionary definition… e.g…
Nippart n 1. artist. 2. uses this pseudonym. 3. has a love of text.
As you can see, I speak about myself in third person and put a number before each “point”. You can have as many, or as few “points” as you wish. There is no wrong answer to any of this either. As long as you write a short “definition” and leave a name (if you believe a nickname, pseudonym or an alternative alias defines you better please feel free to use that) then you’ve done everything right.
Also, if you feel you would like to make more than one entry under several alias, then feel free. We are after all several people! I can think of four names that people call me straight away, and I’m a different person under each alias.
Please feel free to leave yours as a comment on this page. Any dictionary definitions left elsewhere may not end up being added to the project. (Feel free to leave comments anywhere on the blog, just make sure your definitions are left on this page.)
The blog is continually checked and your definitions will be put in a post on this blog after I add your name in phonetics. You will be able to use the search option in the sidebar to find your definition post after I’ve sorted it.
If you have any question please feel free to contact me by MSN, AIM or by email with the details given at the bottom of the sidebar.
Finally, I want to make clear, that although it does say “URL and EMAIL” when you go to make a comment, they are not compulsory. So if you feel you would like to write something anonymously, you can leave out any personal details.
Regards
Nippart
